Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is October 23-31.

The Red Ribbon Week awareness campaign began in 1985. Red Ribbon Week is celebrated to promote awareness of living a healthy, drug and alcohol free life. It is also a way for individuals and communities to unite and take a visible stand against alcohol and drug abuse in their community. Red Ribbon Week is one of the longest running alcohol and drug prevention awareness campaigns in the nation, and is traditionally celebrated during the last week of October. This year’s theme is Life is Your Journey, Travel Drug Free.
